More to set up

Once your teams, escalation and routing work, your assistant can set up more of Noci AI for you, one subject at a time.

  • Severity rules (incident.severity_rules): which alerts open an incident at which severity.
  • How incidents open (incident.open_policy): the channel an incident gets, who is pulled in, and whether it starts a huddle or a bridge.
  • Incident rooms (incident.room_policy): summaries, the ask for an update, and how long messages are kept.
  • Phone calls (voice.settings): calls per incident, the budget window and quiet hours.
  • Alert grouping (alerts.correlation): how related alerts are grouped. You confirm this one on the Changes page.
  • Repeat alerts (alerts.repeat_policy): what happens when the same alert keeps arriving.
  • Log alerts (alerts.log_policy): how log alerts close, by hand or a set time after they fire or after someone acknowledges them.
  • Triage weights (alerts.triage_scoring): the weights Noci uses to rank alerts. You confirm this one on the Changes page.
  • Maintenance windows (alerts.maintenance_window): hold pages for a team, a service or an alert source between two times. Create, change, end or remove a window.
  • Alert sources (alert_source): change a source’s settings, or switch it on or off. You confirm switching one off on the Changes page. To start a new source, your assistant gives you a link.
  • Services (service): add a service, rename it, change how critical it is, or move it to another team.
  • Dependencies (service.dependency): which service relies on which. Your assistant reads them through the service.
  • Team manager (team.manager): who manages a team.
  • Time off (oncall.shift_constraint): when a person is not available for a shift.
  • Agent tools (agent.connections): which connected tools an agent may use.
  • Agent skills (agent.skills): which skills an agent has.
  • Phone agent access (agent.phone_access): what the phone agent may do on a call. You confirm read and write on the Changes page.
  • Skill library (skill): add, change, restore or delete the skills your agents can have. You confirm a delete on the Changes page.
  • Workflow steps (workflow.plan): the steps of a workflow.
  • Workflow triggers (workflow.triggers): what starts a workflow.

You confirm each change in Noci, and you can undo most of them. Noci tells you when one cannot be undone. See Set up Noci AI by talking to your AI assistant, and Go live for going live.

Your assistant does not change these. It tells you the screen.

  • Users & Roles: inviting people (your assistant can prepare the list, see People and invitations), changing someone’s workspace role, removing someone from the workspace, and the workspace defaults: time zone and language, AI assistant access, and the second approver for high-impact changes.
  • Single Sign-On: Single sign-on (SSO) and SCIM provisioning Coming
  • API Keys: workspace and personal keys.
  • Plan and usage: your plan, your usage and your billing.
  • Incident policy, phone calls: turning calls on or off, the transfer number, and how long recordings are kept.
  • Integrations: the keys for a connected tool.
  • Context lake, Slack: which channels Noci remembers.
  • Connectors: connector agents.
