Slack channels
You can tell Noci AI what each Slack channel it remembers is for, and which team or service it belongs to. Your assistant can do this for you. Which channels Noci remembers is chosen in the Noci console.
What you can ask for
Section titled “What you can ask for”- Give a channel a label. The labels are service, team, alerts, customer and general.
- Link a channel to a team or a service. Noci then knows where to look and who to tell for that team or service.
For example: “Label the Slack channel payments-eng as a team channel for Payments.”
Your assistant asks for the change. It waits for a person to confirm it in Noci, like any other change.
What stays in the console
Section titled “What stays in the console”Some choices are made only in Noci, never by an assistant:
- Choosing which channels Noci remembers.
- Letting Noci search a channel.
- Noci’s own incident rooms.
Asking for a label or a link never reads or writes a message in your channels.
Needs Slack first
Section titled “Needs Slack first”Install Noci in Slack before you label channels. See Connect your tools.
