Incident management for SaaS
SaaS incidents follow frequent releases, can touch one account or all of them, and often reach support before they reach a monitor. Noci AI triages every alert as it arrives, its agents investigate with your telemetry and recent code changes, and you choose, step by step, whether an agent asks before it acts.
What makes a SaaS incident different?
A SaaS product is changed all the time, and it is shared. Both facts shape its incidents. The system a customer used this morning is not exactly the system they use this afternoon, and a fault in one shared part can reach one account, a group of them or everyone.
For whoever is on call, that means:
- A recent change is the first suspect. With frequent releases, “what shipped lately?” is usually the right first question, and the answer is spread across repositories and deploy tools.
- The scope is unknown at first. Is this one account, one region of the product, or all of it? The answer decides how loudly to react.
- Support may know first. Customers write in before a monitor trips, so the first signal can be a ticket and not an alert.
- Responders are spread out. On-call often follows the sun, so the person paged may not have been in the room when the last change was made.
Where does the time go?
Into reconstruction. The person paged opens the alert, then the dashboards, then the list of recent changes, then the chat where someone mentioned a related problem an hour ago. None of it is hard. All of it is slow, and it happens before the first useful fact is on screen.
This is also where the cost of noise shows. If the on-call engineer has learned that most pages mean nothing, the real one gets the same slow reading as the rest.
How does Noci AI help with a SaaS incident today?
| The problem | What Noci AI does |
|---|---|
| Telling real alerts from noise | Triages every alert as it arrives and scores its noise, with the reasons shown |
| Linking an alert to a recent change | Agents investigate with your telemetry and your recent code changes, and report a hypothesis with the evidence |
| Signals spread across tools | Integrations for alerts, code, chat, paging and support tickets |
| Reaching the person on call | Paging by phone, SMS, Slack and Microsoft Teams; an AI voice agent phones and briefs |
By default, paging goes out at once and AI triage runs alongside it. If you choose, triage and rules run before escalation and paging waits for them.
How much should an agent do on its own?
In Noci AI you choose, step by step, whether an agent asks before it acts. A reasonable path for a SaaS team:
- Start with reading. Let agents investigate and report, and keep every step that changes something behind an ask-first choice.
- Decide what is routine. Choose which steps may run on their own.
- Keep customer-visible steps cautious. Anything an account holder would notice is a candidate to ask first for longer.
- Review after each incident. Decide what to ask first next time.

What does a person decide?
The agents’ investigation is a hypothesis with its evidence, and a person judges it. On-call schedules and escalation policies decide who is paged and in what order. Which agent actions wait for a person is your choice, step by step. Questions
How does Noci AI connect an incident to a recent release?
Its agents read your telemetry and your recent code changes from GitHub and report a hypothesis with the evidence behind it. A person decides whether the change is the cause.
Can support tickets reach Noci AI?
Support ticket tools are among the listed integrations, next to alert, code, chat and paging integrations. The integrations page lists which ones.
Does triage delay the page?
By default, paging goes out at once and AI triage runs alongside it. Paging waits for triage only if you choose that. Noci AI triages every alert as it arrives either way.
Who decides what an agent may do on its own?
You do, step by step: you choose whether an agent asks before it acts.
